The Trust Board are looking to appoint a Clerk to the Board. The successful candidate will be pivotal in supporting the effective governance of the Trust and the proper conduct of its business.

The successful candidate will have excellent administrative and organisational skills and be able to produce documents in good written English.
The Clerk will be responsible for ensuring that Board proceedings are conducted in accordance with the ESFA Academies Handbook and the Governance Handbook.
A degree of flexibility of working hours is required, in response to meetings. The successful applicant will have a minimum of level 3 / GCSE in Maths and English and a high level of IT skills.
A relevant professional clerking qualification would be desirable, or a willingness to undertake. Visits welcome, by appointment. Full handover from existing post holder will be available.
Rate of hourly pay is £15.20, equivalent to a Bournemouth BG07 Grade 8 SCP 33-36 (£29,323 - £31,601 FTE)
Minimum 90 hours / per year, casual due to variable hours
