School Business Services provide Ocean Learning Trust with a Interim Finance Director Service.
This gives the Trust peace of mind that a strong team of financial consultants are supporting the ongoing financial health and business aspects of the Trust. The SBS service includes support, advice and guidance for trust growth and development objectives, and strategic support in the development of robust financial plans that align to the growth aims and objectives.

Most of my working life has been as a Civil Servant with brief spells at Bath Travel, Chase Manhattan Bank and Kinson Primary School.
As a Civil Servant change was frequent and I worked as part of teams based in Bournemouth, Dorset, the SouthWest and nationally. Most recently I was a Partnership Development Manager and worked with stakeholders such as other government departments, voluntary sector organisations and Local Authorities. I spent a wonderful year travelling in my early twenties when I undertook casual work apple and grape picking. Variety has been a constant in my working life.
I have undertaken a number of volunteer roles. I was a school governor at Malmesbury Park Primary School between 2004 and 2008 where I held positions on the Staff and Finance Committee, Discipline Committee and Curriculum Committee. One of the last activities I was involved in was the recruitment of the current Head Teacher. I have been an age group manager at Bournemouth Rugby Club since 2006 and was Club Secretary and Membership Secretary for a few years.
I enjoy working in collaboration and believe strongly in networking and the sharing of good practice and ideas. Conversion to a Multi Academy Trust is complex and I am enjoying the challenge of Ocean Learning Trust’s journey and getting to know my new colleagues.
